Good Morning
Man, it's been a great two weeks. Last week I was up at Shade 45 with Ms. Mimi and this week I was at G-Unit offices with thisis50. I've truly been blessed. In both cases they showed a lot of love to the mixtape. I honestly believe I can break down the barrier between hip-hop and basketball...even though the two can be considered synonymous. Having a chance to sit in the offices of G-Unit was very unbelievable. Knowing that it was/is my talents that gave me the opportunity to be there and to be interviewed was very humbling. I had the chance to meet G-Unit's own comedian Jack Thriller. Not only is he funny, he's a good guy. Oh yeah, how could I forget??? As I was awaiting my interview who walks in????? Well, it was none other than world famous, hi-hop artist, producer, and DJ, DJ Quik. I thought he was going to be much shorter than what he actually is. He's somewhere around my height, 6'0 or so. Being able to share the same offices and have the same purpose for being there let's me know that I am well on my way. Anyway, be on the lookout for that interview with Jack Thriller via thisis50.com
Moving right along...
Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing an interview with The Breakdown. Dave and Audley showed lots of love to me as an artist/producer and to the NY Liberty. Two great guys that allowed me to use their platform to showcase my own talents and to talk about this year's season...they even asked me would I collab with Ron Artest and had me spit a few bars at the end of the interview for y'all. It was another good interview and I hope to be able to do it again. I'll provide links to both interviews so you can keep up with everything.
My real job...
Today we have a tough matchup ahead of us vs the Indiana Fever. The Fever have always been a championship contender and U expect this year to be no different. With tonight being the 1st game of the back-to-back game, I know my body is going to feel the after shock... hey it's what I signed up for lol. You gotta love this game! I'm so excited that the season has started. After playing abroad for 6-7 months, it's always good to be able to do what you love in front of people you love. It gets no better than this. I want to give a quick shout out to everyone that showed us love on our first win of the season against ATL. I know a lot of things have changed in New York, but I'm sure you guys will love it. The only thing that won't change is the winning tradition the NY Liberty has brought to the city that never sleeps. With that said....LEHGOOOOO
Y'all know who it iiiiiissssss
